Coffee Run
Coffee Run marked a milestone for Bomper Studio — the first self-commissioned character animation project the studio had taken on. A genuine passion project in many respects, the production spanned simulation, lighting, modelling, texturing, and rendering across C4D, Octane, and Houdini.
All simulation and FX work was handled inside SideFX Houdini using its native solvers — Vellum for hair grooming and simulation, FLIP for the liquid work, and Houdini's particle and smoke toolset for the remaining effects throughout. Having everything built within the same environment made for a cleaner, more manageable pipeline across the board.

Keeping the full simulation pipeline under one roof made for a much cleaner and more manageable production process.
